Timelyaction by our guardians on LoC really appreciable: Kavinder Gupta

Kavinder, Randhawa Starts black topping works worth 2.25 crores in Shastri Nagar


JAMMU: The recent killing of 13 terrorists along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu's Mendhar-Poonch region on Monday is reflective of the firm resolve of the security forces, army in particular to counter-infiltration of the forces which have been posing threat to the lives and properties of the state and innocent civilians and members of the forces.


Timely action by our guardians on border, on those carrying gun is highly appreciable and every Jawan deserve salute for risking his life for the cause of the Nation in the State. This was stated by Senior BJP leader and Former Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta on the sideline of start of black topping work at Shastri Nagar in Gandhi Nagar Constituency.


While terming this operation as a big success, Gupta said that more than 77 militants have been killed this year and the morale of our security forces is very high. Gupta lauded the forces for being alert, saying they have scuttled Pakistan's nefarious designs. He said that more such operations are needed to clear over ground and underground elements involved in supporting anti-India forces and involved in the innocent civilian's killings in the valley.


Referring to the black topping work which was started along with former MLC Vikram Randhawa in presence of District President BJP-Vinay Gupta, District general secretary BJP-Ankush Gupta, Councillor-Jaideep Sharma, Narinder Gupta Koki, Additional Treasurer BJP- Prem Gupta, Bharat Bhushan, Master Tarsem, Ved Sharma, Ashok Kumar Saini, Vinod Andolan and Sanjay Abrol started today in Shastri Nagar which has to be completed by PWD with an estimated cost of 2.25 crores. 


Gupta said a genuine & long pending demand of the inhabitants of Shastri Nagar has been met. Gupta said that momentum of the developmental works shall be boosted in coming days. Gupta said amid COVID-19 pandemic which is global problem, terrorism including infiltration of terrorists by Pakistan, the developmental activities shall be continued in J&K. Gupta appealed general public to get united for mitigating the COVID-19 and identify the antinational forces in the Union territory of J&K so that crown of India is saved from all such problems and citizens live peacefully. Gupta appealed to public to follow the guidelines notified by the Government to control of further spread of COVID-19. Local residents thanked Kavinder Gupta for getting the roads of the area up-graded as this was the long pending demand of the residents. The locals apprised Gupta of other problems related to water supply, manning of distribution transformers at various places and problems related to drainage system.
