Soz invites militants, pro-freedom leaders for talks

Poll boycott can’t be solution to any problem
Senior Congress leader and Union water resources Minister, Saif-ud-din Soz on Friday extended invitation to militants and pro-freedom camp asking them to come to the negotiating table rather calling for a poll boycott.
Reports said that Soz addressing a joint rally for the NC candidate Mehboob Baig for Islamabad parliamentary constituency at Trisal area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam on Friday, Soz said that the call for boycott can never be a solution to any issue. 
He said instead of asking people to boycott the elections, pro-freedom leaders and militant outfits should come to the negotiating table.
“Boycott calls can never be a solution to the problems. Instead of asking people to boycott the polls, separatists and militants should come to the negotiating table,” Soz said.
“The participation of large number of people in last year’s assembly elections should serve as an eye opener for the separatists,” he added.
The senior Congress leader said that the pro-freedom leaders were exploiting the people by issuing statements from their drawing rooms. He said the people have faith in democratic set up and they’ll vote in large numbers in the ongoing elections.
“Separatists should stop exploiting and deceiving people who have time and again deposed faith on Democracy,” he said.
