RAMBAN: The Department of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions, GoI, has conferred Silver Award on District Ramban under the prestigious National Awards for e-Governance for the year 2021-22. The district won the award for achieving ‘Excellence in District Level Initiative in e-Governance’ under its project e-SuvidhaRamban.
In a communication addressed to the Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Mussarat Islam, the Department of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions, GoI, has informed that the Silver Award for District Ramban carries a certificate, trophy and a cash award of Rs 3.00 lakh for the Department. The award would be formally conferred to the district at the 25th National Conference on e-Governance scheduled to be held on Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University Campus, Kakryal on November 25-26.
The Deputy Commissioner has thanked the Department of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions, for national recognition of one of the newest districts in the country. He also expressed deep gratitude to Ramban’s NIC team for conceiving the interactive application which did wonders in facilitating people and also providing employment opportunities to skilled and educated youth of the district.
